Is anything happening with oil buying groups?
I have been doing a little research into setting one up in Barcombe. It appears that a number of small informal groups exist (usually 8 or less householders) who mange to get a penny or two off a litre if they buy over 5k litres. However, I am beginning to wonder if there is much saving to be made with a large group as the profit margins the distributors operate at seem so low (4p on a litre at this moment).
